DNQCHSS — THE NEW CLASSICS.
Don Quichosse is a French espadrilles workshop, based in the Pays Basque, at Mauléon city. They make their espadrilles in the purest tradition, from the models of our ancestors (those that are still worn in the Basque Country) to those that have been updated.
They wanted to do something different, to reach out to a younger audience, so they asked me to create a pattern for a new spring/summer collection.
Finally, the project ended up becoming a small campaign, which has given a new look to the brand, and has opened the way to new lines of exploration.

Don Quichosse és un taller francès d'espardenyes tradicionals del País Basc, a la ciutat de Mauléon. Elaboren les seves espardenyes de manera tradicional, des dels models dels nostres avantpassats (els que encara es porten al País Basc) fins a models actualitzats.
Volien fer alguna cosa diferent, arribar a un públic més jove, així que em van demanar que creés un pattern per a una nova col·lecció de primavera/estiu.
Finalment, el projecte s'ha acabat convertint en una petita campanya, que ha donat un nou look a la marca i ha obert la porta a noves línies d'exploració.
